Who We Serve
Adults
Daily Support Groups
Both in-person and virtual support groups are available. Services are provided free by specially trained counselors and advocates. All services are confidential and are provided not only for crisis situations but also for those currently living in domestic violence, or those who have experienced it in the past. Groups provide a comfortable atmosphere to develop relationships.
It also allows us to recognize there are others who are experiencing similar situations, and we are not the only ones. The group provides emotional support for survivors as they work through the effects of abuse. The group also provides a safe place to talk about the abuse and to learn about the dynamics of domestic violence and the effects it has had on every aspect of their lives and their children’s lives.
Call (814) 438-2675 to find a group near you. You can also call this number if you would rather schedule a one-on-one counseling session or to talk to someone now.
